When should I apply the anti-pimple patches?

Our pimple patches can be used at different stages of a breakout:

  • During the inflammatory stage: they help soothe inflammation thanks to salicylic acid and vitamin C, while also protecting the pimple from bacteria and preventing you from touching it too much. Hydrocolloid technology also keeps the area in a moist environment, which helps support the natural maturation process of the pimple.
  • When the pimple has a whitehead: the patches help absorb the contents of the pimple without needing to pop it, which can help prevent marks and scarring.
  • After the pimple has been popped: once you have properly disinfected the area and applied a repairing treatment, place a patch over the wound. The hydrocolloid keeps the area in a moist environment throughout the day, which promotes faster and more effective healing.

How long can I keep a pimple patch on?

If you apply the pimple patch in the evening, you can leave it on overnight.

If you apply it during the day, you can keep it on for 6 to 8 hours.

Don’t forget to take breaks between uses to let your skin breathe.

Can you apply makeup over a pimple patch?


To ensure the patch stays in place throughout the day, we recommend not applying makeup over the anti-blemish patch, as this may reduce its adhesion to the skin.

However, you can still apply makeup to the rest of your face, making sure to avoid the patch area. Don’t panic—our new-generation hydrocolloid patches are ultra-thin and almost invisible to the naked eye.

And if you don’t yet feel comfortable wearing a patch during the day for fear it might be noticeable, you can simply use it overnight, which is just as effective.
